About the Exhibition

Call for Art: HERSTORY 2026

Herstory returns for its third iteration in 2026—an invitational exhibit celebrating feminine narratives through visual art. This is not an annual show, but a thoughtfully curated series that highlights new voices and evolving perspectives.

Artists are invited to submit available work or propose new work created for the show, as long as samples of similar style or theme are provided. The curatorial team will use these references to guide selections and build a compelling, cohesive exhibition.

About the Exhibition

Theme

Herstory explores the layered stories of women— Themes might include:

  • Resilience and resistance
  • Body, identity, and voice
  • Ancestry, lineage, and care
  • Feminine labor, leadership, and liberation
  • Memory, myth, and future-making

Interpretations may be direct or abstract. We welcome work that sparks dialogue, honors nuance, and offers a lens into personal or collective experience.
