Mel Scott

I have always known I am an artist—my parents, spouse, family, and friends all tell me so. I currently teach at UTU, but I was in the art department at Tuachan High for ten years.

I have a BFA from SUU. I was one of the original founders of the Southern Utah Art Guild. I was the founder and first president of the Watercolor Society and served on the mayor's Commission; many women shows still involved actively have a private studio and teach privately by appointment.
